Samantha Bailey – When creativity, colour and passion collide

Samantha Bailey's new range

Digitally printed Italian silks, elegant design silhouettes, passion and teamwork collide to create Samantha Baileys stunning new range.

Samantha’s intricate designs and choice of elaborately printed silks created several challenges for our senior pattern maker Nana Yi and new prodigy Celine Okada. To realise Samantha’s vision for the collection the team had to strike the perfect balance between her complex designs and the kaleidoscope of colours exploding over the nine unique prints. After some late nights and a few lost weekends we are all very proud of the results. Caryn Luxton Design is managing production for the range.

Celine has been working with us one day a week during her final year of study. Celine says the highlights of the course for her were learning manual and cad pattern making and being able to apply what she had learnt in creating her graduate range – which was the BOMB!

From all of us “Good on you Celine.”

Now back to work… :)
